It is intended as tv documentary as well as a 12 episodes series for digital content.
It can be considered a whole or a sum of the parts, it doesn’t matter.
It wants to be a pop and vivid portrait made by videographic, animation, mixed media.
It tells how a city changes (Bologna, but it’s not hard to imagine This is Macerata, This is Belluno, This is Syracuse) and what stresses produce change: technology, relationships, tourism, aging.

nerds, freaks, enthusiasts.
Some disappear forever, others arrive.
Porno theaters goers, videotapes addicts, octogenarian barbers, underage barbers, nightclubs, people who live on buses, gyms, amateurs, tourists, nomads, bolt tycoons.

Communities threatened with extinction or new communities in formation.
Bologna is a bizarre place. However, outside is barbarism.
The old city is besieged by a new savannah.
Homeless, nomads, tourists, dropouts are only the vanguard of a new citizenship. The ancestors of future kings. Maybe it’s time rebrand the city, a new name, perhaps through a public competition.
This film is a back portrait, an out-of-focus, night-time appearance. We will carefully avoid showing great monuments, famous people and facts of proven historical significance.
